Following the events of The Batman (2022), Oz Cobb, also known as The Penguin, attempts to take over Gotham City’s criminal underworld
From melting makeup to filming in freezing temperatures, Colin Farrell and Cristin Milioti talk about how they got into character during the production of “The Penguin.” Colin Farrell fought hard to have his version of The Penguin smoke tobacco in The Batman (2022), but it didn’t work out.
The DC Studios logo is set on a rainy Gotham City alley
However, for his own series, the character is depicted as a casual tobacco user with a preference for cigars.
An umbrella falls and the logo changes to that of Warner Bros
Appears in Graham Norton and guests: Lady Gaga/Demi Moore/Colin Farrell/Richard Ayoade/Jack Savoretti (2024).
“Chaos is not a fountain, chaos is a ladder” In the context of Lord Baelish, this is how “The Penguin” behaved with the destroyed Gotham city, full of corruption and devastation, to be an ideal and very fertile environment to build your own authority
As an extension of what happened in The Batman and the disaster that befell the city, we saw an opening scene that was one of the most amazing disasters that have ever occurred, and the chaos that we see with the Penguin’s gaze is nothing more than an indication that the Penguin was placed in the right place at the right time to exploit the overwhelming chaos, and of course, he is also the right man.
All you have to do to see the piece is watch the Batman movie and that is more than enough
I don’t have a great background in the world of comics or the character of the Penguin, but I had no problem understanding the events and the style of the character.

The cast delivers very good performances
The storytelling is solid, with twists and turns that will keep you on the edge of your seat, and the cinematography perfectly captures the eerie atmosphere. That said, I have to say that Ms.
Lynch’s performance was rather disappointing
Her performance felt very one-dimensional, which unfortunately overshadowed the strong, nuanced cast. It’s not about race – I can think of several brilliant black actresses who could have brought more depth and complexity to the role.
It’s certainly not perfect, but it’s worth watching
It’s just that her performance didn’t live up to the standard of the series as a whole, which was disappointing. Still, the series is worth watching for its story and the brilliant performances from the other cast.
