Three strangers – who live in the same New York apartment building and share an obsession with true crime – suddenly find themselves embroiled in a murder. In fact, he is a very experienced and talented musician. The viewer learned in the first episode that CHS lived above Oliver, who lived above Mabel, with that elevator scene.
BUT the opener has CHS in an apartment on the 7th floor, Oliver on the 8th, Mabel on the 9th–reverse order and far below the CHS' a real suitable floor within the series.. I was actually surprised by how much I liked Only Murders in the Building. There’s a reason both seasons were nominated and won so many awards.
The cast (Selena Gomez, Steve Martin, Martin Short) and the writing are what make this show so special. Martin and Short play off each other like the legends they are, and Gomez is a much better actress than I expected. This show was so good and every episode is so funny that I binged both seasons over the weekend.
It’s a killer mystery show that has lots of twists, turns and laughs. I’m looking forward to season 3 coming out soon. Season 3 should be the best yet with Paul Rudd and Meryl Streep added to the cast.
