Brilliant seventy-year-old Madeleine “Matty” Matlock, who, after her success at a young age, decides to return to work at a prestigious law firm, where she uses her humble demeanor and cunning tactics to win cases and expose corruption from within. Matty is assigned to Olympia, an elderly lawyer and key figure who craves justice, while Olympia’s ex-husband, Julian, the son of the firm’s boss, is intrigued by Matty and her skills. Matty works side by side with young colleagues of the firm – charismatic Billy and extremely ambitious Sara – and tries to make a name for himself in the new arrogant world.
