Star Wars The Acolyte cancellation CHAOS!
(2024). It’s a very bland film with the cliché of a feminist protagonist. This thing turned me down from the start.
I haven’t read the books, but I’m pretty sure Tolkien didn’t write the story
“I’m strong and I want to fight”, “I don’t belong to anyone”, “free and brave”. Maybe on a macro level, the history of the war and all, yes, but not the details or most of the characters. It’s full of feminist platitudes that make you feel disconnected from the context of the film.
I don’t recommend it
It features old people, with swordsmen and kingdoms, and there is a female character who boasts independence, courage, doesn’t want to get married, that she makes her own decisions. What’s up???? Even the character deaths aren’t nerve-wracking because everything is focused on the king’s daughter.
