She totally embraced it
There is a common saying that LoL’s big budget went into animation instead of balancing the game’s champions, and this couldn’t be more true. I wasn’t expecting this masterful level of animation. With each episode they found more ways to wow the audience with incredible visuals and transitions. The fight scenes were tough and stunning. While the series wasn’t entirely canon to the original lore, it was still an intense story that set up an interesting universe. I won’t lie, the first act didn’t really impress me, but the episode 4 that followed did.
Some did surprise me until the very end
My only problem with the story was that I just couldn’t get enough of it. I wanted more and I don’t like to wait. The characters were great and so was the animation. Many of the character dynamics fascinated me and made me realize how much I needed them. I admit that some of the characters were clear, but not all of them were predictable. The direction for all the characters was incredible.
Overall, though If the game was a love-hate relationship, Arcane was definitely just love and a phenomenal step in setting up LOLCU
