Adapted from Leyendas de Marvel: Guardians of the Multiverse (2023). Now that the first season is over, I can confidently say that this series has exceeded my expectations. It uses clever writing and detailed animation to give fans the service they need and more. Each episode is quite diverse, so there are many different scenarios and you never know how it’s going to play out or which characters will appear. The series doesn’t waste time explaining anything about the Marvel Cinematic Universe and just gets to the heart of the scenarios and also starts to connect scenarios without warning. This is for fans, not casual viewers! However, the diversity of the episodes also means that the quality and tone also vary quite a bit. The short runtime means that many events and battles are cut short. The canon and consistency of everything was adequately taken care of, but there are still gaps and each character’s power/ability seemed to be invented according to the needs of the plot.
